Project Overview
Project Name: 3D Injection Animation
Objective: To create a scientifically accurate and visually engaging 3D injection animation that demonstrates how blood is drawn from the human body for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Service Type: 3D Medical Animation
Industry: Healthcare, Medical Education, Diagnostics, Patient Awareness
Timeline: 8 Weeks
Targeted Audience: Medical students, nurses, phlebotomists, healthcare professionals, and patients who want to understand how injections and blood collection work.
Project Description
EFFE Animation developed an injection animation video that clearly illustrates the process of blood collection. The animation showed step by step how a needle enters the vein, how blood is drawn into a syringe or collection tube, and the importance of correct technique for patient safety.
The video also highlighted vein anatomy, proper needle placement, and precautions such as preventing infection or bruising. This project helped bridge the gap between medical training and patient education, making blood collection procedures less intimidating and more understandable.
Project Plan
- Researched standard blood collection techniques and safety protocols.
- Storyboarded the process: preparing the syringe, disinfecting the site, inserting the needle, and drawing blood.
- Created 3D anatomical visuals of skin layers, veins, and blood flow.
- Animated step-by-step injection mechanics with realistic detail.
- Added narration to simplify explanations for both students and patients.
- Reviewed by healthcare professionals to ensure accuracy.
