Project Overview
Project Name: Psoriasis Treatment Animation
Objective: To create a scientifically accurate and visually engaging Dermatological Disease Mechanism animation that explains the causes, progression, and treatment methods for Psoriasis. The animation aims to simplify dermatological processes for medical training, dermatology research, and patient education.
Service Type: 3D Medical Animation
Industry: Healthcare, Medical Education, Dermatology, Pharmaceutical
Timeline: 8 Weeks
Targeted Audience: Medical students, dermatologists, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical researchers, and patients seeking to understand Psoriasis and its treatments.
Project Description
EFFE Animation developed an advanced 3D mechanism of disease animation to explain how Psoriasis develops and how different treatment strategies work. The animation illustrated immune system dysfunction, rapid skin cell turnover, and inflammation at both cellular and tissue levels.
It further visualized treatment methods such as topical therapies, phototherapy, systemic medications, and biologics. By combining detailed dermatological models with treatment-pathway animations, the project provided a clear understanding of both the disease mechanism and therapeutic outcomes.
This Dermatological Disease Mechanism animation helps dermatologists train medical students and also acts as an effective tool for patient education, allowing patients to visualize how treatments reduce symptoms and improve skin health.
Project Plan
- Conducted research on the pathophysiology of Psoriasis and treatment guidelines.
- Designed a storyboard highlighting immune dysfunction, keratinocyte overproduction, and skin plaque formation.
- Built 3D models of skin layers, immune cells, and inflammatory pathways.
- Visualized the impact of different treatment modalities on skin restoration.
- Added narration to suit both medical learners and patient education needs.
- Reviewed by dermatologists and clinical researchers for accuracy.
